Željezničar celebrated at Grbavica against Posušje, Jaganjac the man of the match

(Patria) - FK Željezničar achieved a valuable victory in the 11th round match of the Wwin BiH League, defeating Posušje 1-0 at Grbavica.

Željezničar is playing well this season and is currently in the upper part of the table, and with this victory, they kept pace with Zrinjski and Borac, now holding third place with 21 points. They have the same number of points as second-placed Zrinjski and one more game played, and one point less than Banja Luka, who do have two fewer games played compared to the Blues.

Before the match, the Blues said goodbye to the legendary Halid Bešlić by playing his songs and displaying his image on the scoreboard, as well as an interesting banner: "I don't want, I don't want diamonds, solid gold, brilliant ones, nor sapphires, nor rubies, only full stands of Željo."

The start was not good for the hosts, as their best player and captain Madžid Šošić got injured, replaced by Dan Lagumdžija. In the first half-hour, there wasn't much to see, but then in the 36th minute, a great chance for the hosts, but the visiting goalkeeper Soldo saved a powerful shot from Cvetanovski.

Shortly after, Seedorf shot while falling, but was blocked, and in the 42nd minute, the post saved the visitors, after the ball hit Seedorf in the back in a scramble and almost ended up in the Posušje net.

At the very start of the second half, Jaganjac scored a beautiful goal, causing an eruption of delight at Grbavica. In the 53rd minute, Jaganjac almost scored again, but Soldo saved the visitors.

The home team controlled the match, but clearly had to be very careful with a minimal lead, while the last-placed Posušje was waiting for any mistake from the home defense, which did not happen today.

Very important three points for Željezničar, who will visit Prijedor in seven days, and then at the end of the month in Tuzla against Sloboda in the Cup. After that, a series of tough matches, as they will play against Velež in the league, then against Zrinjski in Mostar, host Sloga, and visit Borac, and then host Široki and visit Košev.

However, Admir Adžem's squad is taking it game by game, hoping to be competitive for the title, and one of the primary goals is a new qualification for Europe.
