(Patria) - Footballers of Željezničar recorded their fourth league victory and thus equaled Sarajevo at the top of the Premier League table.
Denis Ćorić's selected players tonight in Gabela in the sixth round match of the Bosnian elite defeated GOŠK with a score of 3:0, leaving Danijel Pranjić's team without points, anchored to the bottom of the table, reports Faktor.ba.
Željo took the numerical advantage on the field right at the start of the match. In the seventh minute, Mandić fouled Boljević who was heading towards the GOŠK goal.
Initially, the home player received a yellow card, but after a VAR check that lasted several minutes, referee Miloš Gigović showed Mandić a direct red card.
Immediately after that, Boljević shot well from a free kick, but Kolak parried his attempt.
Boljević was in high spirits in the first half. He tried again in the 27th minute, but the GOŠK goalkeeper once again emerged victorious.
After the sending off, Danijel Pranjić's team focused solely on defending their goal.
They waited for their chance to threaten the visitors from a possible counterattack. In the 36th minute, after a quick action, Mihaljević had a chance, but Cavnić blocked him.
Željo's play in the first half was not so fluid, the ball circulation was not at the desired level, so GOŠK's defense coped more easily with the visitors' fruitless attacks.
Coach Denis Ćorić showed he was not satisfied with what he saw in the first half by making three changes already from the 46th minute. Karić, Marković, and Mirčevski stayed in the locker room, while Krpić, Hiroš, and Al-Jaber came in.
However, that did not significantly affect the course of events on the field, as the situation was similar to that in the first half. Useful crosses from the sides were also lacking, so even Krpić's entry was not felt much.
In the 73rd minute, the visitors broke GOŠK's resistance. Substitute Cvetanoski, three minutes after entering the game, crossed, goalkeeper Kolak deflected the ball, and another player from the bench, Hiroš, was in the right place, sending the ball into the net.
Željo's chances for victory then significantly increased, and the duel was decided in the 86th minute. Cvetanoski and Krpić did not fall for the offside trap; the former was faster than goalkeeper Kolak and assisted Krpić, who scored one of the easiest goals of his career.
In the first minute of stoppage time, after a counterattack, Hiroš scored his second goal of the match and set the final score.
The Blues now have 13 points, the same as Sarajevo, with the Bordeaux team having a game in hand.

In the next round, the Blues host Zrinjski, while GOŠK will face Široki Brijeg at Pecara.
