International assistance requested due to threats against Kajan and his family

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) has requested urgent action from police agencies due to threats made against the family of Sanel Kajan, as well as international checks since the threats were made via social media.

The HNK Prosecutor's Office confirmed to Detektor that they have received several reports regarding threats against representative Kajan and members of his family, and that they are conducting all necessary checks.

Urgent action has been requested from the Federal Police Administration – Criminal Police Sector and the Ministry of Interior of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (MUP HNK), Cyber Crime Department, with the aim of identifying and discovering possible perpetrators of criminal acts.

Given that the threats were made via social media, the Prosecutor's Office explains that they have also requested international assistance.

“Which in any case requires a certain amount of time to receive a response, i.e., checks,” stated the Prosecutor's Office.

They note that they have not yet received a criminal report from the MUP regarding the matter that representative Kajan brought to the public's attention at the joint session of the Security Commission of the Parliament of the Federation.
