3,580 fewer employed in FBiH in three months, contribution revenues also falling

(Patria) - Data from the FBiH Tax Administration show a further decline in the number of employed persons in the Federation of BiH. As of 31.03.2026, the number of employed persons is 541,829. A month earlier, the number of employed was 542,080.

At the end of December 2025, the number of employed persons was 545,409, which means 3,580 fewer employed persons in the first three months of 2026.

Taxpayers in the Federation of BiH paid KM 2,159,940,276 in public revenues in the period January-March 2026. Compared to the same period in 2025, revenues collected were KM 17,768,397 lower. See the table to find out where the decline was recorded.

As of 31.3.2026, the number of active business entities, including business units and branches, in the Federation of BiH is 135,308, and as of 31.3.2025, the number of active business entities, including business units and branches, in the Federation of BiH was 132,195.

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, as of 31.03.2026, a total of 110,660 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of BiH, through which a total turnover of KM 6,366,790,049.89 was recorded in March 2026.

The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices as of 31.03.2026 is Centar Sarajevo Municipality, with 7,298 fiscal devices installed in its area.

The municipality with the highest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in March 2026 is Ilidža Municipality, with a total turnover of KM 526,905,929.13 recorded in its area.
