
(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues for the first nine months of 2024 amounted to 8 billion and 493 million KM, an increase of 629 million KM or 8% compared to the same period in 2023 when they amounted to 7 billion and 864 million KM.
In the period January-September 2024, the UIO returned 1 billion and 521 million KM to the economy.
Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the period January-September 2024, which include the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 6 billion and 972 million KM, an increase of 721 million KM compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Unified Account for the same period in 2023.
In September 2024, 989 million KM of indirect taxes were collected, which is 57 million KM more than in September 2023.
In the period January-September 2024, an amount of 762 million KM was allocated for financing state institutions. The remaining collected indirect tax revenues went to the entities and Brčko District. Thus, the Federation of BiH received 3 billion and 815 million KM from the Unified Account, Republika Srpska received 2 billion and 137 million KM, and Brčko District received 214 million KM.
Based on the special road toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 179.6 million KM, Republika Srpska received 118.7 million KM, and Brčko District received 6 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in a special road toll account amounting to 0.25 KM.
