(Patria) - The website of the sports channel of Polish public television TVP Sport was targeted by a cyber attack yesterday during the duel between Poland and the Netherlands.
The cyber attack prevented some viewers from following the first half of that match.
- Around 3:00 PM, Polish television was targeted by an attack on its IP address - said TVP Sport director Jakub Kwiatkowski.
The attack completely blocked the TVP Sport website until the start of the second half, reports RSE.
As a reminder, the Netherlands national team defeated Poland yesterday in Hamburg after a comeback with a score of 2:1, in the first round of Group D of the European Championship being played in Germany.
