(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today that he is traveling to New York where he will try to prevent the adoption of the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica at the United Nations.
"I plan to go there as early as April 21st and stay for six, seven, eight days, to talk with as many representatives as possible," Vučić said.
He stated that "we remain to fight".
"This adoption of the resolution is so unfair, because a general resolution on genocide has already been adopted, and it is unfair to proceed individually," Vučić emphasized.
We remind you that the Serbian political public is concerned about the possibility that a resolution on Srebrenica, prepared by the Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations, led by Ambassador Zlatko Lagumdžija, will be adopted at the UN General Assembly session at the end of April.
According to media reports, the resolution, among other things, calls on all countries of the world to develop programs about Srebrenica, as well as to condemn any "glorification of individuals convicted of war crimes against humanity and genocide in Srebrenica".
A few days ago, Vučić emphasized that after the adoption of the resolution, there would be "demands to abolish the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska and for Belgrade to pay war reparations," writes Faktor.
