Over 300 Youngsters at Youth Olympic Games in Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje!

(Patria) - The Youth Olympic Games in Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje have been successfully concluded, gathering over 300 participants from primary and secondary schools in the Sports Hall over three days.

The youngsters competed in several team and individual disciplines, demonstrating a high level of athletic fitness, as well as a strong team spirit, mutual respect, and fair play. The competitions took place in a positive atmosphere, without incidents, with great support from the audience.

Organizers emphasize that the primary goal of the event was to promote healthy lifestyles, sports, and youth connection, which was fully achieved.

"We are particularly pleased with the energy the participants brought, as well as the fact that through sports they showed the importance of unity and mutual respect," said the organizers.

Schools and teaching staff, as well as instructors, played a significant role in the realization, and their engagement contributed to the quality organization and safe conduct of all activities.

The Youth Olympic Games were organized as part of a project aimed at strengthening cooperation and trust among young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is being implemented with the support of international organizations, including the European Union, UNICEF, the United Nations, OSCE, and the Council of Europe.

The organizers thanked all partners, institutions, and participants, emphasizing that such events have long-term significance for the local community.

In the end, it was stated that similar activities will continue in the future, with the expectation of an even larger number of participants and an even richer program.
