Višća extends contract with Trabzonspor, expects to win the title

(Patria) - Bosnian footballer Edin Višća has extended his contract with Turkish top-flight club Trabzonspor.

An agreement was reached with Višća, whose contract expires at the end of this season, for a 1+1 year extension, the club announced.

It was agreed that Višća will receive a guaranteed amount of 1.5 million euros for the 2025/2026 season, as well as the optional 2026/2027 season.

„I hope to gather many more beautiful memories in this jersey, win the championship title, and continue writing this unique story,“ said Višća, who played his 100th match in a Trabzonspor jersey in the last round of the Turkish Super League against Sivasspor.

The former Bosnia and Herzegovina international started his career at Budućnost from Banovići, played for Željezničar and Başakşehir, and joined Trabzonspor in 2022.

Višća holds the title of the player with the most assists (115) in the history of the Turkish Super League.
