Vincent Tan at the 'Asim Ferhatović Hase' Stadium, Welcomed by First Team Players and Academy Members

(Patria) - FK Sarajevo, led by president and investor Ismir Mirvić, today hosted Vincent Tan, another investor in the club, along with the Malaysian Sultan of Pahang, Abdullah, and their guests.

Tan was also presented with the 'Plaketa Grada Sarajeva' award. The recognition was given to him for his "contribution to the development of the City of Sarajevo in sports.

Club employees, along with the first team and academy players, welcomed Tan with a parade at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium with the words "Welcome home, Uncle" and greeted Sultan Abdullah with the words "Welcome to Sarajevo".

Hamza Ćataković, representing the First Team, presented the guests with commemorative gifts, and the club's academy members, with the club anthem playing, thanked Tan for his support of young talents over the past 10 years, saying:

"We want to say a big thank you to Mr. Tan. Your support and selflessness have made a big difference for our club and for us, the children. FK Sarajevo Academy will continue to work hard, as always. We want to promise you and our president – we will make you proud! We are all part of a wonderful journey and we know our goal. Thank you once again, Mr. President and Mr. Tan," and they told Sultan Abdullah that they hope this is just the first of many future visits to Sarajevo and the club.

The delegation will visit Sarajevo and the "Butmir" training center over the next two days and discuss future plans for the club and further strengthening of FK Sarajevo. Discussions will also cover potential investments in BiH.

Tan has been involved with the club since 2014, and this year marks his tenth anniversary of supporting FK Sarajevo and the development of football in our country.
