(Patria) - Marko Šljivić, a Bosnian-Herzegovinian skier, took 23rd place in the slalom discipline at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
After two runs, our skier achieved a time of 2:02.96.
In the first run, Šljivić benefited from a large number of retirements and secured 23rd place. He improved this position in the second run, thanks to two retirements in the second run.
Olympic gold was won by Loic Meillard (Switzerland), silver by Fabio Gstrein (Austria), and bronze by Henrik Kristoffersen (Norway).
96 skiers registered for the race, and Šljivić had bib number 49. As many as 50 skiers failed to finish the first run.
