Velež presents striker Armin Spahić

(Patria) - FK Velež Mostar has officially gained a new reinforcement in its offensive line. As of today, Armin Spahić is officially the new footballer for Mostar's Rođeni.

The contract with the 24-year-old striker was signed in the Press Room of the Rođeni stadium, and the cooperation was agreed upon for two years, with an option to extend for another season (2+1).

Armin Spahić was born on September 29, 2000, in Deutschlandsberg, Austria, and his physical build also attracts attention - he is 205 centimeters tall, making him an extremely strong striker in duels.

He built most of his career so far in Austria, where he played for SV Lebring, Hengsberg, Preding, Gralla, and FC Gratkorn. During the summer of 2022, he decided to come to Bosnia and Herzegovina, signing for Gradina from Srebrenik.

After Gradina, Spahić wore the jerseys of TOŠK and Tuzla City in the domestic league, for which he played on two occasions. Between those two engagements, he also briefly played for Austrian Horn.

In the first part of the current season, he was a member of Tuzla City, where he stood out as the team's top scorer with five goals and three assists, which ultimately led to his transfer to Velež.

Velež expects additional strength and solutions in attack from their new striker, and they believe that his performance will help the club achieve its set goals and delight the numerous fans at the Rođeni stadium.

The Mostar club wished Spahić much luck, health, and success in the red jersey, with the hope that their cooperation will be long-lasting and successful.
