Bosnia and Herzegovina - Israel match to be played without spectators

(Patria) - The upcoming match between the youth football teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel, which will be played in Mostar on Friday, will be held without the presence of the public.

As announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the decision was made based on a security assessment, in cooperation with the match organizers.

“In accordance with security assessments and after consultations with the organizers, it has been decided that the match between the U21 national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel at the HŠK Zrinjski stadium will be played without spectators,” the statement from the Mostar police reads.

This match marks the beginning of the qualifiers for the European Championship up to 21 years of age, which will be held in 2027 in Serbia and Albania. The duel between the youth selections is scheduled for Friday at 6 PM.
