FK Velež management shows solidarity with fans, will not attend city derby against Zrinjski

(Patria) - After the Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton confirmed today that Velež fans have been banned from attending the city derby against Zrinjski for security reasons, the match will also be missed by the management of Rođeni.

Namely, as confirmed to Hercegovina.info from Velež, the club's management will not watch the match from the stands of Pod Bijelim Brijegom stadium.

"That's right, the information is correct. This time we will show solidarity with the club's fans and will not attend the match," Velež president Senad Kevelj briefly responded.

Let us recall, due to recent events in Stolac and Mostar, the Ministry of Interior of HNK assessed that this is a high-risk match and decided that it is not advisable for the Red Army fan group to come to the stadium this time.
