UEFA to decide on World Cup referees in early April, Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto in the shortlist

(Patria) - UEFA referees will have their final seminar before the World Cup at the end of March, after which the final selection of referees is expected.

The seminar was originally planned for early March in Dubai, but was postponed due to the events in the Middle East.

The new decision is to hold it in Italy, in two groups - at the end of March and the beginning of April.

The first group includes Szymon Marciniak, Glenn Nyberg, Michael Oliver, Jose Maria Sanchez Martinez, Sandro Scharer, Clement Turpin, and Slavko Mančić. They will attend the seminar from March 24 to 27.

The second group includes Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto, along with Anthony Taylor, Felix Zwayer, Maurizio Mariani, Espen Eskas, Istvan Kovacs, Francois Letexier, Danny Makkelie, and Joao Pinheiro. Their seminar is scheduled from March 31 to April 2.

This seminar represents the final filter before the World Cup, given that other confederations have already selected their referees, while UEFA's final decision is expected in early April.
