UEFA fines Croatia 34,500 euros

(Patria) - The Disciplinary Committee of the European Football Association (UEFA) has fined the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) due to incidents during the Nations League match between Croatia and Poland at Osijek's Opus Arena.

HNS was fined a total of 34,500 euros - 15,000 euros for throwing objects, 4,500 euros for lighting flares, 8,000 euros for pitch invasions, and 7,000 euros for public warnings to players and officials during the match played on September 8 in Osijek.

Croatia won that match against Poland 1-0, and on Tuesday, the same teams played another match in Group 1 of the elite Nations League in Warsaw, which ended in a 3-3 draw.

With two rounds left, Croatia is in second place in the group with seven points. Portugal leads with 10, Poland is third with four, and Scotland is last with one point.
