Billboards reading 'There is a border' with armed individuals appear in RS

(Patria) - Billboards with the inscription "There is a border - because no one can judge Republika Srpska" have been placed in several cities of this BiH entity. In East Sarajevo today, posters were pasted on advertising billboards. In addition to the symbolic message, the billboard also features the unconstitutional coat of arms of RS, which ceased to be used in 2007.

The president of the People's Front, Jelena Trivić, reacted this morning on BHRT to the posters that appeared in Banja Luka. They read "There is a border - Because we are not giving up our competencies" with the image of a man in military uniform and armed soldiers/policemen marching.

“This morning when I was going to work, I saw the billboard. I can tell you it's not pleasant and it says 'There is a border', with a man on it and a little bit of military equipment is visible. He is not in civilian clothes,” Trivić told BHT1.

“It is in a visible place, at a roundabout with heavy vehicle traffic. For me, such messages are absolutely not good. They should not come from anywhere,” she added.

The authorities of the RS entity, led by the indicted president of SNSD and RS, Milorad Dodik, had previously announced the return of competencies. When the BiH Council of Ministers was supposed to vote on declaring a Day of Mourning in BiH on August 14 due to the murders in Gradačac, Minister Staša Košarac blocked that decision, stating that it represented a transfer of competencies because the RS Government had already passed a decision on the Day of Mourning. Given this, the FBiH Government then made a decision to declare a Day of Mourning on August 16.

Milorad Dodik's attacks on the BiH Prosecutor's Office, the BiH Court, and the Constitutional Court of BiH have been ongoing for a long time. He has repeatedly said that he does not recognize the decisions of these judicial institutions, and he is also blocking the election of a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH from RS in the NSRs.

After Dodik was indicted for not implementing the decisions of the High Representative, rallies were held at several locations on inter-entity lines. Those gathered carried banners with the message "There is a border".

Several gatherings were held last Friday as well, followed by the installation of new billboards. At a time when attacks on Bosniak returnees are frequent in RS, and MUP RS police officers were arrested for beating a minor in a police station, such actions by Dodik's regime understandably increase the fear of returnees.

While Dodik sows unrest in 49 percent of the territory, those who form the government with him are not reacting...
