Directed by Kajganić and Vukojičić: How May 2nd and the Siege of Sarajevo are Being Erased from the BiH Court!

On May 2, 1992, the Yugoslav Army and Serb forces heavily shelled the city. Buildings disappeared in flames. Sarajevans experienced hell. The hardest day in Sarajevo's history was looming. Around 12:00 PM, the army from the JNA House opened fire on citizens standing at the bus station. At 1:30 PM, a journalist from Radio Bosnia and Herzegovina, unaware of the events in front of the JNA House, called the Second Army District by phone.

The conversation was recorded and went like this: Journalist: "Do you know what is happening?" Lieutenant Colonel: "We know." Journalist: "Sarajevo has been under artillery fire all morning." Lieutenant Colonel: "We know that the Green Berets are shooting, shooting at Pale and provoking the Army to respond. The same method is known, and then the Army is accused of being guilty of everything." Journalist: "Lieutenant Colonel, the Army was not attacked." Lieutenant Colonel: "I think that is not true" and hangs up.

And while the conversation was taking place between the journalist and the lieutenant colonel from the Second Army District, units of the Yugoslav Army were attacking the BiH Presidency…

This is part of the memories of Nihad Halilbegović, wartime secretary of the Secretariat for National Defense of Sarajevo and commander of the first Patriotic League staff in RBiH, in an author's text on izdvojeno.ba.

But you will hear none of this at the trial in the Dobrovoljačka case! So far, witnesses for the BiH Prosecutor's Office, mostly officers, colonels, and senior officers of the JNA, deny before the BiH Court that an attempt was made to seize the BiH Presidency on May 2nd.

According to their testimonies, well-instructed by prosecutors Mladen Vukojičić, Milanko Kajganić, and also by Belgrade, where the indictment was written, on that May 2nd, there was 'music playing' in the JNA House, because only cultural events were held there, and on the streets of Sarajevo, only 'food was being transported to JNA barracks'!?

And so, about twenty witnesses, testifying mostly via video link from Serbia and Montenegro, know nothing about May 2nd. Neither have they, lo and behold, heard any shelling, nor do they know about the JNA artillery positions around Sarajevo, nor did they shoot, nor kill, burn, they are true pacifists!

The established facts in final judgments in The Hague are being changed, all orchestrated by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, because it was clearly stated in The Hague that the column in Dobrovoljačka Street was a legitimate military target.

To explain plastically, the column in Dobrovoljačka Street consisted of 250 heavily armed officers and soldiers who were in the territory of the independent state of Bosnia and Herzegovina with weapons in their hands that day.

However, Vukojičić and Kajganić, with the help of Belgrade, figured out they were "smarter" than the world's top legal experts who worked in The Hague, and through new expert testimonies (Zenit from Banja Luka) and the introduction of other individuals into the process (MUP RBiH), they determined that this column was not a legitimate military target and that Alija Izetbegović was a free man on May 3rd!

The audacity of the local judicial geniuses goes so far as to claim that Alija Izetbegović was arrested at Sarajevo Airport on May 2nd and taken to Lukavica to save his life!?

And the truth, of course, is something else entirely. But the BiH Prosecutor's Office does not care about the truth; their justice is measured by acting as revisionist as possible and equating all sides in BiH! That is why we have no indictments for the siege of Sarajevo. And instead of indicting former JNA officers for the siege of Sarajevo, they are testifying from Belgrade via video link against the defenders of Sarajevo.

And no less important is the fact that mass crimes against Bosniaks and Croats, rapes, expulsions, murders, looting of property, and destruction of religious buildings occurred long before May 2nd and 3rd, and it was precisely the Command of the 2nd Military District that planned and directed these crimes! And so Milosav Gagović, as commander of the Sarajevo Corps, will testify against Ejup Ganić and others and admit that the JNA ceased to exist on April 27, 1992.

He could not answer which army he belonged to on May 3rd.

But we know, no matter what Kajganić and Vukojičić claim…

They were aggressors, a foreign military force, practically terrorists in the internationally recognized independent Bosnia and Herzegovina!
