FK Sarajevo's Roll Call and Start of Preparations on Monday

(Patria) - The new year 2026 has arrived, and with it the start of preparations for the spring part of the season for many Bosnian-Herzegovinian football clubs is approaching.

Football Club Sarajevo has scheduled the beginning of its preparations for Monday, January 5th, when the roll call of players and a training session will mark the continuation of the fight for the best possible placement this season.

The roll call and training of FK Sarajevo players will be conducted by head coach Mario Cvitanović at the FK Sarajevo Training Center - Butmir.

During the preparations, five friendly matches are planned. The "Maroon team" will play one in Sarajevo on January 16th, with Famos from Hrasnica being the first opponent.

Sarajevo will then travel to Turkey on January 18th, and in Antalya, they will play four more friendly matches. The opponents will be: Zorya Lugansk (January 21st), Dunajska Streda (January 24th), Skhendija (January 28th), and LNZ Cherkasy (January 31st).

The return from Turkey is scheduled for February 1st. The "Maroon team" will play its first match of the new season at "Koševo" on February 7th, when they will face Radnik from Bijeljina.
