Won silver in Paris, then got a film role in her native South Korea

(Patria) - Kim Yeji, a shooter from South Korea, whose photos of cold-blooded target shooting at the Olympic Games in Paris went viral, has now landed her first acting role.

The South Korean competitor won silver in the women's 10-meter air pistol event, but also gained significantly more popularity on social media, reports Euronews.rs.

Kim, whom many said looks exactly like a character from action movies, will play an assassin in the spin-off series "Crush," based on the film "Asia," writes the Yonhap agency.

The series explores the stories of various individuals facing racial hatred and discrimination, and features actors from America and seven Asian countries.

Elon Musk also assessed that Kim has the potential to become an acting star, commenting on her video on the social network X.

"She should be in an action movie. She doesn't have to act," Musk wrote.



This athlete has already signed a contract with a talent agency to manage all the activities she is sought after for in her homeland, and she has already done fashion photoshoots for the brand "Louis Vuitton."

Kim stated that she is open to various activities as long as they promote her athletic engagement.
