Džanan Musa operated in Munich, uncertain if he will play in Eurobasket

(Patria) - Džanan Musa's PR team informed the public that our basketball player has injury problems due to which he missed numerous training sessions, and it is very possible that we will not see him on the court at Eurobasket in Cyprus either.

"We would like to inform the public that Džanan, due to pain in the abdominal area, urgently traveled to Munich two days ago, where it was determined that an surgical procedure was necessary, performed by Dr. Ulrike Muschaweck, the world's leading doctor in this field.

The doctors' prognoses are good, and Džanan is already in Sarajevo tomorrow after yesterday's surgery. He is currently recovering in Munich.

We note that everything was done in coordination with the medical team of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Džanan's club BC Dubai.

Džanan has expressed his desire to do everything possible and, depending on his recovery, to leave room for a potential appearance at the upcoming Eurobasket, given his immense desire to be with the team in Cyprus. The Basketball Federation of BiH previously stated that Musa did not travel with the Dragons to the tournament in Belgium and that he "suffered a blow to the same place against Serbia and Montenegro", and that he "needs a few days of rest".
