PSG and Inter to play Champions League final in Munich

(Patria) - PSG footballers have reached the Champions League final, the second in the club's history, writes Faktor.

After a minimal victory in London, the French champions also celebrated in the return match at the Parc des Princes tonight with a score of 2:1, eliminating Arsenal 3:1 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

PSG will face Italian Inter in the grand final, which will be played in Munich on May 31.

PSG took the lead with a goal from Ruiz in the 27th minute. The hosts could have doubled their lead from a penalty in the 69th minute, but Raya saved Vitinha's nonchalant attempt.



What Vitinha could not do, Hakimi did just three minutes later, doubling the home team's lead with an effective strike.



Arsenal managed to reduce the deficit through Saka in the 76th minute, and the same player missed a colossal chance to equalize in the 80th minute.



PSG will play their second final in Munich. In their first, in 2020, they were defeated by Bayern 1-0 in Lisbon.

Inter, who eliminated Barcelona in an incredible semi-final tie, will play their seventh European final, having won the title in 1964, 1965, and 2010.
