In the Herzegovinian derby, Velež defeated Igman

(Patria) - In the 23rd round of the Wwin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Velež hosted Igman from Konjic at the 'Rođeni' stadium. The match ended with a score of 2:0.

The hosts immediately started aggressively towards the guests' goal. In the 14th minute, Velež took the lead. Vehabović crossed the ball into Igman's penalty area, Šikalo shot well with his head and the ball hit the crossbar, then the post – and Nermin Haskić put it into the net for 1:0.

It was the 19th minute when Vehabović tried his luck from a free kick, but shot over the goal.

Three minutes later, the guests threatened through Džanković, but his shot was blocked. In the 30th minute, Hrkač shot well from 25 meters, but hit the outside of the net.

The same player was accurate in the 36th minute, scoring past Ćeman from about 20 meters. A few minutes later, Suljić was inaccurate.

In the 57th minute, a great chance for Velež, Šikalo shot from seven meters, but Ćeman intervened excellently.

In the 67th minute, Velež threatened again, this time Pršeš's attempt was blocked by the visiting players.

In the remainder of the match, there were no major chances, Oreč crossed in the 74th minute, but the guests cleared it.

The end of the match approached and there were not too many chances, it was difficult for the guests to make up the deficit.
