(Patria) - The first match of the 26th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina between Tuzla City and Široki Brijeg was played at Tuzla's Tušanj.
The match was opened more agilely by the footballers of Tuzla City. Mehanović shot over the goal already in the second minute, and in the fifth minute, after a good action, the visiting goalkeeper handled the ball well, “picking it up”. In the ninth minute, the visiting defense prevented Sušić from passing to Hodžić and thus threatening their goal in time.
After a very offensive start by Tuzla City, the guests from Široki Brijeg also “woke up”. In the 16th minute, Mamić headed the ball, but it went over the goal. After Bihorac shot in the 21st minute and the visiting goalkeeper saved his shot, Široki Brijeg had two excellent chances. First, in the 22nd minute, Kpan shot from about 15 meters, but the home goalkeeper caught the ball, and then in the 24th minute, Mamić headed from a few meters, but the home goalkeeper was again secure.
In the 27th minute, we saw a good shot by Delimeđac, which was saved by the visiting goalkeeper, but a minute later he was helpless. Mehanović took a ball, shot from over 40 meters, and with a wonder goal beat Tomić for 1:0.
Delimeđac found himself in another good opportunity in the 33rd minute, but his shot was saved by the visiting goalkeeper, and in the 41st minute we saw a controversial situation. Prusina shot excellently, the ball hit the crossbar and, in the referees' opinion, bounced off the line. The guests protested fiercely, believing that the ball had completely crossed the line and that they were denied a goal. In the image below, judge the controversial situation for yourselves.
However, when they failed to do so in the 41st minute, they scored a goal in the 44th minute. Kuprešak shot from 15 meters, the ball deflected off Bihorac and deceived the home team's goalkeeper, going into the goal for 1:1. That was all we saw in the first 45 minutes.
The first chance in the second half was recorded in the 49th minute when Mašović shot from over 20 meters, but the visiting goalkeeper saved securely. In the 53rd minute, we also saw the first chance for the guests in the second half. Chinedu attempted a “scissors kick”, but the ball went over the goal.
In the 60th minute, Mehanović played an excellent through ball to Pantelić, but at the last moment, the visiting defense cleared the danger in front of their goal. In the 68th minute, Nukić also tried to pass to Pantelić after a solo run, but without success.
The home team took the lead again in the 70th minute. After Mehanović was brought down in the visitors' penalty area, Dragan Petrović awarded a penalty, which Nukić successfully converted for 2:1.
Nukić was also the only player to receive a yellow card in this match, in the 73rd minute, after a harsh foul on Prusina.
After the home team regained the lead, the game mostly calmed down, being played between the two penalty areas and without major chances.
Only in the first minute of stoppage time, out of the four that were added, we recorded a good shot by Mehanović from a free kick, but the visiting goalkeeper saved his shot.
And just when the end of the match was expected, the home team scored another goal, sealing a very important victory in the fight for survival. Mehanović shot, and the ball deflected to Karjašević, who had no trouble putting it into the net for the final 3:1 and a big celebration for the Tuzla City team.
Tuzla City will visit GOŠK in the next round in a very important match in the fight for survival, while Široki Brijeg will host Igman.
Tonight at 20:30, the match between Borac and Sloga Meridian is also scheduled at the “City Stadium” in Banja Luka.
