Turkey is the first semi-finalist of EuroBasket

(Patria) - The Turkish national team is the first semi-finalist of this year's EuroBasket.

The Turks were big favorites against the Polish team, which they ultimately justified - they celebrated with 91:77.

The quarter scores were as follows - 19:19, 27:13, 19:18, 26:27.

The Poles managed to keep up until about the middle of the second quarter, when the Turks suddenly stepped on the gas and pulled away by +14 at halftime (46:32).

In the continuation of the match, they had more than 20 points lead, and finally brought the match to an end in their favor with 91:77.

The most effective player in the winning team was Alperen Sengun with 19 points, while Sehmus Hazer and Shane Larkin added 13 each. Jordan Loyd and Mateusz Ponitka scored 19 points each for the Poles.

In the second quarter-final of the day, also played in Riga, Lithuania and Greece will play at 8:00 PM.
