(Patria) - A total of 12 million tickets were sold during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, announced the French newspaper Le Figaro.
For the Olympic Games, held from July 26 to August 11, 9.5 million tickets were sold.
As for the Paralympic Games (from August 28 to September 8), the figure is 2.5 million, according to Le Figaro.
In terms of tickets sold, this year's Games in Paris were more successful than the 2012 Games in London, when 10.9 million tickets were sold.
