Bosnia and Herzegovina international Sead Kolašinac was injured today in the Italian Serie A match against Bologna and will be out for months.
According to initial predictions, it seemed that it was not a serious injury, although he was carried off on a stretcher, but unfortunately, the ligaments are torn.
As reported by Gazzetta, Kolašinac suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will be out of action for six months.
The season is over for the BiH defender, and he will also miss some matches for the BiH national team. Those in June against Slovenia and San Marino for sure, it remains to be seen if he will be ready for the September matches.
Just a day earlier, news emerged in Italy that Kolašinac could move to Milan from the summer, as Inter plans to sign him after his contract with Dea expires.
Italian media are increasingly mentioning the possible transfer of the 31-year-old left-back, who could achieve another major transfer after previously playing for big clubs, including Arsenal.
Kolašinac has been one of Atalanta's most reliable starters this season. Kolašinac has 62 appearances for the BiH national team and would become only the second Bosnian at the Nerazzurri after Edin Džeko, who has played 101 matches for Inter and scored 31 goals.
