Avdić passed away at the age of 47, and on social media, relatives, friends, and acquaintances are bidding him farewell...

We will especially remember him for the famous broadcast of the match between the basketball Dragons and Lithuania at EuroBasket 2013.

At that time, our basketball players defeated the Lithuanians, but not by a sufficient margin to advance to the next stage of the competition.

In a rush of emotion and the Dragons' brilliant play, Avdić uttered several phrases that remained memorable. He was particularly inspired by the then-captain of the Dragons, Mirza Teletović, with several long-range shots.
