Tahirović: Instead of accepting reality, Vučić is pushing the Serbian people into an abyss and 'collective responsibility'!

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed the public last night at a press conference in Belgrade, announcing the challenges Serbia will face in the coming period.

He particularly problematized the announced session of the UN General Assembly at the end of April, which is scheduled to discuss the Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica. He believes that 'it aims to punish the Serbian people for their freedom-loving policy'.

“To further pressure them because of Kosovo and Metohija, and to show the Muslims that because of the support they provided to Israel, they can now say they have found Muslims they support, and the Serbs will once again bear the brunt,” Vučić said.

“That legal act does not have binding force, but it is clear to you that the day after that, an initiative will be launched that entities founded after the genocide, political creations, cannot exist, referring to Republika Srpska. Serbia must monitor the respect of the Dayton Agreement, and according to Dayton, Republika Srpska must exist, and no one will change that. I want to say how difficult a situation Western countries can put our country in,” added Vučić.

Murat Tahirović, president of the "Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide", in a statement to Patria, points out that it is simply unbelievable how leaders behave, first Milorad Dodik and now Vučić.

“Who advises them, who gives them such interpretations, and what are these statements from the president of a serious country. You get the impression that an weeping and abandoned husband of some hostess is addressing the public, not the president of a country,” said Tahirović.

He adds that he doesn't know if Vučić is aware, while noting that Dodik clearly is not.

“Vučić should be aware that he is pushing the Serbian people deeper into an abyss from which they will not emerge for the next thousand years. Instead of accepting reality, facts, rulings of international courts, he continues to talk about responsibility, and collective responsibility of the Serbian people, claiming someone is framing them.

No one, except you, Mr. Vučić, is framing the Serbian people; the Serbian people are not guilty. You are guilty, your mentor Šešelj, Milošević, Karadžić, and others like them to whom you give the right to continue poisoning the people in Serbia,” added Tahirović.
