
(Patria) - The Phoenix Suns celebrated tonight at the Denver Nuggets after overtime with a score of 117-107.
The regular part of the match ended 102-102, after which the team of Bosnian basketball player Jusuf Nurkić was better in the additional five minutes and resolved it with a 15-5 run.

With the victory over the NBA champions, the Suns broke a mini-series of two consecutive losses, and after 62 games played, they have a record of 36 wins and 26 losses. They currently occupy the 6th position in the Western Conference.
Tonight's match between the Suns and the Nuggets was also a duel between Jusuf Nurkić and Serbian Nikola Jokić. The Serbian center had a better performance, but Nurk ultimately took the win.

The Suns led by as many as 22 points in the third quarter (77-55), but the home players gradually melted that difference and eventually reached overtime.
In the winning team, Kevin Durant was the best with 35 points, while Grayson Allen scored 28.
Nurkić, in just under half an hour on the court, scored only seven points, and added six assists. However, the player from Živinice was once again the best rebounder on his team, recording 12 rebounds.
In Denver, the most efficient was Jamal Murray with 28 points, followed by Jokić with 25 points and 16 rebounds.
