
(Patria) - Bosnian and Herzegovinian Olympian Strahinja Erić finished 67th in the qualifying round of the classic style cross-country skiing sprint race at the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games.
Erić competed in the Tesero Cross-Country Centre among 95 participants, crossing the finish line of the 1.5 km race in 67th place.
Erić achieved a time of 3:35.07, finishing 27.7 seconds behind the winner.
The top 30 competitors advanced to the quarter-finals.
Erić will also compete in the 10 km race at the Olympics on February 13th.
These are the second Olympic Games of his career for BiH's cross-country skier Strahinja Erić.
Five athletes are defending the colors of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Winter Olympic Games: Elvedina Muzaferija, Esma Alić, and Marko Šljivić in alpine skiing, and Strahinja Erić and Teodora Delipara in cross-country skiing.
