Serbia saves itself from defeat against Slovenia in stoppage time

(Patria) - Slovenia and Serbia drew (1:1) in the 2nd round match of Group C at the European Championship. The Eagles got their point in the 96th minute through Luka Jović.

The Slovenians opened the match excellently and Matjaž Kek's team dominated the opening minutes of the match. Already in the fourth minute, the first chance. Čerin shot from 20 meters, Serbian goalkeeper Rajković saved.

Four minutes later, Rajković saved again. This time Mlakar tried a shot, but did not manage to score.

Slovenia controlled the game during that period. Dragan Stojković's team did not play much, and only in the 28th minute did the Eagles create their first chance. Vlahović's header was too weak for Oblak.

In the end, they avoided defeat in the final seconds. Luka Jović scored in the 96th minute for a 1:1 draw and a valuable point, but in the last round, a win against Denmark is needed for qualification.
