Curtain falls on Premier League: Sarajevo pushes Posušje into playoffs with a win, Velež secures safety

(Patria) - In the derby of the final round, Sarajevo celebrated against Posušje with a score of 1:2, in an exciting match filled with chances, comebacks, and beautiful plays.

From the very first minutes, Sarajevo appeared more dangerous, and the reward came in the 44th minute when Krdžalić executed a brilliant solo run and scored to give the visitors the lead. Guliashvili had previously assisted, and the maroon team looked more effective in the final moments of the first half.

However, the hosts responded quickly. In first-half stoppage time, Ćuljak capitalized on a long ball from Marić and scored with a precise shot to make it 1:1, adding further uncertainty before the second half.

The second half brought an even more intense battle. Sarajevo had several good chances – Krpić, Beganović, and Lulić threatened, while Čuljak on the other side was Posušje's most dangerous player, but he couldn't beat Rogić again.

The key moment of the match occurred in the 79th minute – after a good play by the visitors, the scorer was Paskalev, although it later seemed that Gordeziani might have been the last to touch the ball. Regardless, Sarajevo took the lead, which they held until the end, even though Posušje threatened with long-range shots.

With this victory, Sarajevo concludes the season on a positive note, while Posušje can regret missed opportunities but also proudly look back at a fair gesture towards referee Irfan Peljto, to whom the hosts presented flowers before the match for his involvement in the Conference League final.

FK Radnik – FK Željezničar 1:2

In a tough and uncertain match in Bijeljina, Željezničar defeated Radnik 1:2, with key goals in the second half.

The Blues took the lead through Boljević in the 50th minute, but the home team responded in the 55th minute through Pantelić, who scored brilliantly from distance. However, the visitors took the lead again in the 69th minute – Lagumdžija headed the ball into the net after an assist from Krpić.

Radnik threatened until the end, especially in the final moments when Teodorović rounded the goalkeeper, but Šukilović cleared the ball off the goal line, and the victory remained with the Sarajevo club.

FK Velež – FK Sloga 3:0

Velež confirmed their stay in the Premier League with a convincing victory against Sloga – 3:0.

After an initial period of feeling each other out, Haskić broke the deadlock in the 18th minute, and the same player later increased the lead to 2:0 with a spectacular volley. The third goal came in the 56th minute when Varga unfortunately sent the ball into his own net.

Mostar's team controlled the tempo for almost the entire match, and Sloga had only one serious chance in the 79th minute when Hadžikić saved Jović's shot.
