Farce in Montenegrin football: A goal seemed inevitable, but the ball stopped in the mud right on the goal line

It is difficult to even talk about stadiums, they are more like playgrounds that in serious countries would not meet the conditions even for third-tier football, and the pitches are even worse.

After we watched sad scenes from Tivat and Tuzi on Wednesday, where the pitches that were recently renovated with the financial help of the Football Association of Montenegro looked more like mud pits and puddles than grassy surfaces, an even uglier picture was sent from Petrovac.

In the very first minute of the Petrovac - Jezero match, visiting defender Iori Okamoto passed the ball back to goalkeeper Igor Asanović, but it went under his feet.

The captain of Plavljani returned and picked up the ball, and the whole commotion seemed to confuse referee Miloš Bešović as well, who should have awarded an indirect free kick but did not blow his whistle.
