Slovenia defeated Croatia in a neighborly handball derby

(Patria) - The handball national teams of Slovenia and Croatia clashed in a neighborly derby in the second round of Group A of the handball tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris, and the Slovenians celebrated victory with a score of 31:29.

Croatia started the match better and had a four-goal lead several times. Slovenia returned to an equal score at the end of the first half, and after 30 minutes of play, the score in Paris was 13:13.

At the start of the second half, Slovenia took its first lead in the match. In the first 20 minutes of the second half, the teams alternated in the lead, and then Slovenia made a 5:0 run and ten minutes before the end of the match reached a four-goal advantage (25:21).
