Slovaks surprise Belgium, two Lukaku goals disallowed

(Patria) - The Slovak national team caused an upset tonight in Frankfurt, defeating Belgium by a minimal score in the first round of Group E of the European Championship being held in Germany.

The scorer of the only goal in the match played at the "Frankfurt Arena" stadium was Ivan Schranz in the 7th minute.

It is worth noting that Belgian national team striker Romelu Lukaku had two goals disallowed.

Lukaku scored his first goal in the 56th minute, but it was disallowed after a VAR intervention due to offside.

Lukaku was unlucky again in the 86th minute, when his goal was again disallowed after the referee reviewed VAR. The reason was a handball by his teammate Openda, which preceded the goal.
