(Patria) - Bosnian and Herzegovinian Olympian Marko Šljivić took 26th place in the first slalom race at the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
Šljivić achieved a time of 1:03.05 in the first run, with a 6.91-second deficit behind the leader.
It should be noted that as many as 24 competitors withdrew before his run due to the demanding course and heavy snowfall during the race.
The second run of the slalom is scheduled for 1:25 PM.
Two days ago, Šljivić competed in the alpine discipline of giant slalom at the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. In the overall standings, Marko finished in 39th place.
