Spectacular matches in Madrid and London, semi-finalists to be decided in return legs

(Patria) - The first two Champions League quarter-final matches were played, both ending in draws with plenty of goals.

Real Madrid and Manchester City scored six goals in a spectacular match, three for each team.

City took the lead in Madrid as early as the second minute. Bernardo Silva caught Lunin off guard and scored for the lead, but it didn't take long for Los Blancos to turn things around, reports Faktor.

First, in the 12th minute, Camavinga leveled the score, and two minutes later Rodrygo, with a furious counterattack, sent the ball past Ortega.

Foden in the 66th minute brilliantly aimed and cleared the cobwebs for City's equaliser.

City took the lead five minutes later. Guardiol aimed with his weaker right foot and sent an unstoppable projectile into the right side.

Real equalised in the 79th minute through Federico Valverde, who masterfully adjusted to his left foot and fired a half-volley on the first touch.

In the second match of the evening, Arsenal and Bayern played in London, with the final score being 2:2.

Saka put the Gunners ahead in the 12th minute. Gnabry scored the equaliser in the 18th minute, and in the 32nd minute Kane gave Bayern the lead from the penalty spot. Trossard set the final 2:2 in the 76th minute.

The semi-finalists will be known after the return matches, which are played on April 17.
