(Patria) - FK Sarajevo juniors drew today at the Asim Ferhatović - Hase stadium with Turkish Trabzonspor 2:2 in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round for the UEFA Youth League.
The Bordo boys pulled off a great feat, as they overcame a large deficit. And that with a man down, scoring two goals in two minutes, reports Faktor.ba.
Cakiroglu gave the visitors the lead in the 2nd minute, and the same player doubled the advantage in the 24th minute.
When Jatta received his second yellow, i.e. red card, in the 55th minute, it seemed all was over.
However, the Sarajevo juniors did not give up, and the great comeback was orchestrated by the substitutes.
In the 64th minute, Pločo reduced the deficit to 1:2, and in the very next attack, Vrban masterfully scored for 2:2 on an assist from Suljić.
Trabzon attacked with a man advantage until the end of the match, but the brilliant Mehić managed to keep the net intact.
The return leg is scheduled for December 11 in Turkey.
