(Patria) - Dubai basketball players dominantly opened the ABA League quarter-final series.
Tonight in Sarajevo's Zetra, Dubai easily defeated Spartak from Subotica with a score of 102:74, and the key role in the triumph was played by BiH national team player Džanan Musa.
The home team set a high pace from the first minute and quickly gained an advantage.
After the first quarter, they were already up by 9 (31:22), clearly indicating the direction the game would take.
By halftime, the difference had increased further, with Dubai going into the break with a convincing 54:41 lead.
Spartak had no answer in the second half either, and as the game progressed, the difference only grew. Dubai easily brought the game to an end and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

The second game will be played on Sunday in Subotica, where Dubai could secure a place in the semi-finals of the play-off with a victory.
Musa shone in the first half with 16 points, and finished the game with a total of 31 points, matching his best performance for Dubai.
