Brilliant Bosna records another European victory!

(Patria) - Basketball Club (BC) Bosna Sarajevo played another brilliant European game.

The Students defeated Bulgarian Rilski Sportist away with a score of 65:56 in the third round of the FIBA Europe Cup tonight.

This was Bosna's second victory in this European competition (previously they defeated Spanish Murcia in Zetra).

The Sarajevo team imposed its rhythm from the very beginning and controlled the entire course of the match.

The hosts only led at the very start of the game (4:0 and 6:4), after which Bosna took the initiative and won the first quarter 23:14. The teams went into halftime with a ten-point lead for Bosna (39:29).

In the third quarter, the Students continued in the same rhythm and entered the last quarter with a 13-point advantage (56:43).

The last ten minutes saw a somewhat weaker performance from the Sarajevo basketball players. Fortunately for them, Rilski could not capitalize on this.

The Bulgarian representative managed to get closer, reducing the deficit to eight points, but could not do more, so Bosna recorded a very important victory.

For the hosts, Stokes stood out with 18 points and eight rebounds, and Arnett added 14 points.

After three rounds played, Bosna has two wins and one loss, while Rilski is at the bottom of the group with one triumph.

In the next round, Rilski will host Murcia, while Bosna will host Polish Lublin in the "Mirza Delibašić" hall.
