Great match in Romania: A fight to the very end and a big win for Bosnia!

(Patria) - In the sixth round match of the ABA League for champions, Cluj hosted KK Bosna BH Telecom in Romania. The final score was 90:98!

Bosna played a memorable game in Cluj-Napoca tonight and after a dramatic finish, defeated host Cluj with a score of 90:98, in a match that had all the comebacks, nervousness, mistakes, but also heroes in the burgundy jersey.

From the very start, it was clear that the Students had a difficult task ahead. Cluj used every mistake by Bosna, and the hosts took control in the middle of the second quarter, going into halftime with a 41:38 lead.

However, Bosna kept pace throughout thanks to a great performance from Michael Young and a fighting game under the basket.

The third quarter brought problems for Muhamed Pašalić's team. Cluj even took a double-digit lead at one point, it seemed the hosts were breaking the game, but then the joker appeared.

Petar Kovačević, who practically sat through the first half, shifted into a higher gear in the second half and started bringing Bosna back into the game.

And then, a textbook fourth quarter.

Bosna played perhaps their best ten minutes of the season. Šalić hit threes like a guard, Shepherd and Taylor brought energy, Joesaar hit a crucial three-pointer with a foul, and Kovačević continued his masterful role.

Cluj tried through Russell and Miletić, but there was no answer to the Students' surge.

Entering the very end brought real drama. The scoreboard was tied, nerves on both sides, mistakes were piling up, but then the cold-blooded killer named Alfonso Plummer stepped onto the stage.

When it was most needed, he hit a huge three-pointer for +6, practically breaking the hosts' resistance.

Until the end, Bosna routinely finished the job, and Kovačević put the seal on a brilliant performance.

The most effective player for Bosna was Petar Kovačević with 13 points in just 15 minutes on the court, and as many as five other players had double-digit scoring.

Specifically, Caruthers, Halilović, Plummer, Šalić, and Young each scored 12 points! Truly excellent team play from Bosna.

A big, huge victory for Bosnia in Romania, a victory of character, roster depth, and heart that beat stronger than ever tonight.

On the other side, Russell was unstoppable with 23 points and seven assists, and shot 5/10 for three points.
