Široki Brijeg defeats Sarajevo at Pecara, Bordeaux team in deepening crisis

(Patria) - Široki Brijeg footballers defeated Sarajevo at Pecara with a score of 2:1 in the 7th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, inflicting the fourth defeat of the season on the Bordeaux team.

The hosts took the lead in the 8th minute through Stanić from the penalty spot, and Sesar increased the lead to 2:0 in the 41st minute. Three minutes later, Kuprešak reduced the deficit after an assist from Guliashvili. In the second half, Sarajevo started offensively, Ljajić hit the post, but red cards for Bajkuša and Bralić further complicated the match for the visitors.

With this victory, Široki jumped to third place, while Sarajevo is eighth. In the next round, Sarajevo hosts Velež, while Široki faces Željezničar.
