Široki Brijeg defeats Sarajevo at Koševo, takes a big step towards survival in the elite

(Patria) - The match of the 30th round of the WWIN League of Bosnia and Herzegovina between Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg at the “Koševo” Stadium has ended. The match finished with a score of 0:1.

Three days ago, these two clubs faced off in the first match of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup final, and the “Bordo” team achieved a convincing victory with a score of 4:0, thus gaining a significant advantage ahead of the return match to be played at Pecara.

At the start of the match, there were no chances, and then in the ninth minute, Kapetanović shot from a great distance, but the visiting goalkeeper saved his shot without any problems. The “Bordo” team will not be able to count on Karlo Lulić, Vinko Solde, and Mirza Mustafić in the next round against Velež, as they received yellow cards in tonight's match.

Sarajevo will visit Velež in the next round, while Široki Brijeg will host Željezničar.
