Široki Brijeg defeats Rudar in Prijedor with a goal deep into stoppage time

(Patria) - Široki Brijeg's team today, as part of the 20th round of the BiH Premier League, won their first match of the season's continuation as guests against Rudar in Prijedor with a score of 2:1.

Already in the ninth minute, Marko Matić headed the ball into Rudar's net after a cross from Pranić. The goal was initially disallowed for offside, but after VAR review, the referee allowed it.

Although Široki Brijeg was more effective during the first half, the home team's goalkeeper reacted excellently and prevented numerous attempts by the visitors.

Rudar managed to equalize in the 36th minute. Romera scored for 1:1 after an assist from Gvasalia, and this goal was also checked for a possible offside, but it was also allowed in the end.

Prijedor's team took the initiative towards the end of the first half and had several good chances to turn the game around, but the teams went into halftime with a 1:1 score.

In the second half, Sesar had a good chance in the 59th minute, but missed an easy opportunity. A few minutes later, Romera scored for the home team, but VAR disallowed the goal due to a minimal offside.

As the match approached its end, the home team was slightly more dangerous, but a shock followed for Rudar in the very final moments.

In the seventh minute of stoppage time, Klepač scored past Dubljanić from the edge of the penalty area after a counter-attack, for the final score of Rudar - Široki Brijeg 1:2.
