Shakhtar expectedly thrashed Sarajevo

(Patria) - Sarajevo footballers were defeated today by Shakhtar from Donetsk in their second pre-season match in Slovenia, writes Faktor.ba.

The Ukrainian representative, a participant in the reformed Champions League for the upcoming season, celebrated with a score of 4:1.

Shakhtar took the lead with a goal in the 12th minute by Sikan, and in the 32nd minute, it was 2:0 after Kryskiv scored.

At the beginning of the second half, Sarajevo reduced the deficit. In the 50th minute, Oliveira scored effectively from a free kick.

By the end of the match, the Ukrainian team scored two more goals. First, Traore increased the lead to 3:1 from a penalty in the 67th minute, and then in the 84th minute, Eguinaldo set the final score.

After today's match, Sarajevo will play one more preparatory match in Slovenia. Their opponent will be Slovenian Olimpija, and the match will be played on July 3rd at 4 PM.

After that, the 'bordo' team will continue their preparations for the first round of the Conference League, where they will face Kazakhstan's Aktobe.

The first match will be played in Kazakhstan on July 11th, and the return leg will be at the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium seven days later.
