(Patria) - Basketball Club Real Madrid has officially extended the contract with Sergio Llull for another year.
The point guard from Menorca will turn 38 in November and will begin his 19th season with the famous club, which will be coached by Sergio Scariolo starting next season.
Real's legend has 29 titles to his name, and it's an interesting fact that since his birth, no one has won more titles with that team, writes Marca.
Llull has retired from the Spanish national team, so he will be focused solely on club basketball.
His game intelligence and locker room experience convinced Scariolo to keep the veteran for at least another year with the club from the Spanish capital.
