Croatia's coach Zlatko Dalić announced the squad for the World Cup

(Patria) - The coach of the Croatian national football team, Zlatko Dalić, today announced the list of players competing for the World Cup, which will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Dalić included 26 players on the list, plus seven reserves.

- You have heard the list. Preparations will begin soon, and everyone should be at training on May 29 so we can complete the preparations.

We will have a definitive list on June 1, so there may be some changes.

Dalić sent a wider list of players, which can include up to 55 names, to FIFA last week, and today he announced the names of the players he intends to take to America.

This list is not final, but is subject to change, as the final deadline for submitting the national team players to FIFA is June 1 at 11:59 PM.

Croatia will open its World Cup campaign in Group L, where its opponents will be England, Panama, and Ghana.

The preparations of the Croatian national team will begin on May 25, and two preparatory matches are planned before leaving for the World Cup.

Croatia will play Belgium on June 2 at Rujevica, while five days later it will host Slovenia in Varaždin.

The national team's departure for the World Cup is planned for June 9.
