Italy's national team leaves BiH, Embassy says they will cheer for the Dragons at the World Cup

(Patria) - The Italian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina commented on social media after the Dragons' victory and qualification for the World Cup. They congratulated the BiH national team on this success, as well as all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Of course, we are sad, but this is football, and penalties are always a lottery. Your joy for such a significant qualification makes our defeat easier. We will cheer for you at the World Cup - because that's what friends do," said the Italian Embassy.

Let us remind you, the BiH national football team qualified for the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, after defeating the Italian team in Zenica following a better penalty shootout.

The Italian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Sarah Eti Castellani, said that the rivalry lasted one day, and the friendship lasts a lifetime.
