Meeting of Representatives of Taekwondo Federations of BiH and Qatar on Future Cooperation

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of the Taekwondo Federation of BiH and President of the Taekwondo Federation of the Federation of BiH, Samir Šarić, held a significant meeting today with the President of the Taekwondo Federation of Qatar, Eida Almuraikhi. Due to postponed flights, the meeting was held at the premises of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board at Sarajevo International Airport.

At the meeting, they discussed potential cooperation between the national federations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar, and Šarić presented the projects of the BiH federation, including the construction of the National Training Center in Sarajevo. The future capacities of the centers were offered for preparations, training camps, and coaching seminars.

It was also emphasized that numerous Qatari citizens visit BiH annually, and athletes are important ambassadors of the country and its natural beauty.

The President of the Taekwondo Federation of Qatar thanked them for their hospitality and expressed readiness to present joint ideas and proposals. He also invited BiH taekwondo athletes to participate in the G1 tournament in Qatar, which will be held in October.

This meeting represents the beginning of establishing quality cooperation between the two federations, and Šarić recently had a similar meeting with a representative of the Taekwondo Federation of the United Arab Emirates.
